How W-Conseil Group collects, uses and protects your personal data across our Luxembourg, Belgium and Dubai practices — in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who we are
W-Conseil Group ("W-Conseil", "we", "us" or "our") is an independent fiduciary, tax and accounting advisory group operating from offices in Luxembourg, Belgium and the United Arab Emirates. This policy explains how we handle personal data collected through this website and in the course of our professional relationships.
For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the data controller is W-Conseil's Luxembourg office. You can reach our privacy team at [email protected].

Engagement data
Information you provide when you become a client, as required to deliver fiduciary, tax and accounting services.
How we use your data
We process personal data only where we have a lawful basis to do so under the GDPR:
- To respond to your enquiries — on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering the messages you send us.
- To provide our services — where processing is necessary to perform a contract with you, or to take steps at your request before entering into one.
- To meet our legal obligations — including the anti-money-laundering, tax and accounting record-keeping duties that apply to fiduciary firms.
- To improve our website — on the basis of your consent to non-essential cookies, which you can withdraw at any time.
Sharing and international transfers
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with parties who help us operate, namely:
- trusted service providers acting on our instructions (for example IT hosting and email providers), bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations;
- public authorities and regulators, where we are legally required to disclose information.
Our Dubai office sits outside the European Economic Area. Where personal data is transferred between our offices, we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses — to keep it protected.
How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Enquiry correspondence is generally retained for up to 24 months. Records connected to a professional engagement are kept for the periods required by applicable fiduciary, tax and anti-money-laundering legislation — typically ten years after the end of the relationship.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions set out in the GDPR, you hold the following rights over your personal data. To exercise any of them, contact us at [email protected] — we will respond within the time limits set by law.
Cookies and analytics
Our website uses a small number of cookies. Essential cookies are required for the site to function and are always active. Non-essential cookies — including any analytics we use to understand how the site is used — are set only with your consent.
You can change your browser settings at any time to refuse cookies or to be alerted when one is set. Please note that disabling essential cookies may affect how the site works.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date shown at the foot of this page. We encourage you to review it periodically.
